My First Lollipop

This was Aiden's first time trying a lollipop (ha - I know, we deprive him!). He liked it for the first few licks and then he threw it out. So I gave him an M&M and he didn't like that at all - he actually spit it out! I guess that's why he was sharing all his candy with us.

Trick or Treat!

Aiden had a blast going trick or treating with Nanny, Lola and Lolo. Of course he wanted to avoid every house that had a dog! And he wanted us to hold him when he went up to peoples' doors. And then he made Lolo hold his pumpkin for him. Every time he left a house he would yell "I got the candies!" But he was even more excited to give out the candy at our house. We always have a ton of trick-or-treaters. We went through more than 10 bags of candy!

The Closest He Got to the Full Costume

Aiden refused to wear the glasses and the hat for his DJ Lance Rocks costume. He had no problem holding the glasses (along with the boom box I made him). But he hated the hat. Until I put it over his other hat and he didn't realize. Too bad it was way too small on his head. But everyone loved his costume. Every kid and parent we passed kept yelling "Hey Yo Gabba Gabba!"

Play Doh with Sky

After NYC we went to visit Auntie Inday, Carol and Sky. Sky showed Aiden how to make shapes out of Play Doh.

Central Park Zoo

Alvin, Aiden and I went into the city on Saturday for brunch and then to the Central Park Zoo. We had a great time and ended up exhausted from walking more than 50 blocks! Aiden kept saying he wanted to see a zebra at the zoo. Unfortuantely the CPZ doesn't have zebras but he LOVED the polar bear. Probably b/c it was behind glass. He gets scared of the animals that aren't totally enclosed.

Daddy & Aiden

Halloween Parade at School

Aiden had his school parade on Friday afternoon. We weren't sure if he was going to wear his Yo Gabba Gabba costume or not. Every time we asked him if he wanted to try it on, he refused. So imagine our surprise and excitement when we saw him walking in the parade wearing it! He didn't have the hat on and he was carrying the glasses, but it was fine with us. His teachers were able to convince him to wear it and they said they even caught him trying on his costumes when he thought they weren't looking. He was so cute in the parade holding hands with his friend Kayla. Then he saw Alvin and went running to him. All weekend he kept saying "I march in parade."

Oh No!

Here's my sad face after the balloon I was playing with popped!

More pumpkin picking

Nanny, Papa, Aunt V and Rob came pumpkin picking with us today in Flemington. This time we tried a place that Aunt Lisa recommended and we loved it. Aiden's favorite part was getting a ride on the tractor (the hayride).

Aunt Laura & Uncle Glenn's Halloween Party

Mommy took me to the party while Daddy went to his "informal" 20th year high school reunion. The formal reunion is in a few weeks. I had so much fun especially running around during the scavenger hunt. Afterwards all the kids had to put back the Halloween buckets that were holding the goodies. Well I put those back along with the candy and money that came in them. Everyone kept telling me to keep it but I kept throwing it back in the box. Then I did get really scared of Uncle Glenn's costume. He was a shark and I screamed everytime I saw him wearing it. But I'm not scared of him - he played basketball with me!

Pumpking picking with Lolo and Lola

Last weekend we took Lolo and Lola with us to go pumpkin picking in Hillsborough. There was a farm there and we got to see lots of animals but of course I was scared of most of them and made Mommy carry me.

Taking My Own Temperature

Fall Festival

Aiden and I hit the Fall Festival that was going on at the park by our house. I wish I had better pictures to share but Mr. Aiden refused to get out of the stroller to walk around!

Eating our way through LA

Our next stop was In and Out Burger for a snack. Then we walked on Robertson Ave. to see if there were any celebrities in Kitson or eating at the Ivy. Last time I ate there I saw Selma Hayek. Then we headed to Beverly Hills to Sprinkles. Those are the best cupcakes! They are opening one by Bloomingdales in NY in February! I brought 6 home on the plane for Alvin and he agreed they were the best. After Sprinkles we hit Rodeo Drive and then Santa Monica, then it was time for me to get to the airport for the red eye. Such a fun trip but nothing was better than walking in the door at 7am on Friday and getting the biggest smile and hug ever from Aiden! Beats seeing any celebrity!

Mario Lopez Sighting

After our Los Angeles event was done I decided to rent a car and take my coworkers on a tour of LA. We hit all the places I remembered hitting when I took a double decker tour 3 years earlier, plus all the places I read about in Us Weekly. First stop was The Grove and Farmers Market. And we ran into Mario Lopez walking right next to us! That's him in the middle in the purple shirt. Wish I had a better picture but I didn't get the camera out in time.

Seeing Dino

I was in California last week for a few days and was able to spend time with my sister Kim. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures but I do have a picture from when Alvin's cousin Dino came to visit me while I was working. It was so good to see both of them and I can't wait until I'm back again next year.

First Cracker Barrel Experience

We stopped here for lunch in West Virginia on the way home. Notice how Aiden is trying to put on the chapstick he picked up while shopping in the country store!
