Happy Birthday Mommy!!!

We celebrated Mommy's birthday with takeout from Chimney Rock and an ice cream cake from Thomas Sweet. Daddy and I brought Mommy those beautiful flowers.

This was our morning conversation:
Aiden: Mommy your birthday is coming soon.
Me: Actually Aiden today is my birthday.
A: No Mommy, today is Wednesday!
Me: Yes it is. But it's also my birthday.
A: No, it's Baby Jesus birthday!

Ha! Now he is saying "Mommy's birthday past!"

A Matching Hat Like Daddy's

Aiden was so excited to get a red hat that matches Daddy's. But Aiden's is cooler b/c it's an official Audi hat!

Whoa lots of snow!

We had a blizzard here on Sunday. Around 20 inches of snow and crazy winds. We went out to shovel around 9:30pm and it took a long time. Luckily we just saw some kids in our development who we are going to pay to shovel everything else for us. Hoping we can go out later so Aiden can use the new snow tube that Nanny and Papa bought him!

Christmas Day with the Ago's

Aiden and the Santiago boys were all wearing Argyle sweaters!

Santa Came!!!

Aiden must have been a good boy this year b/c Santa hooked him up! Although on Christmas morning he didn't want to come downstairs! First he woke up at 5am calling for me so I let him come in our room to watch TV so he'd fall back to sleep. But when he got into the room he kicked Daddy out of bed and told him to go downstairs! Then he slept until 8:30am and refused to go downstairs even when I told him we needed to check to see if Santa came. He wanted to read books instead! When we finally got him downstairs he was very excited about his choo choo trains. So much that he didn't want to open any of his other presents. When we finally got him to open them, he was asking where were more presents for him! He was too much! He really loved the Play-Doh he got too!

Need My Shades

Aiden requested his sunglasses for the car ride home on Christmas Eve! I guess the light from the DVD player was too much for him!

Aiden's Turn in the Present Chair

Aiden got so many presents on Christmas Eve! But he seemed to really like the wine that Mommy and Daddy got!

Christmas Eve

We had such a nice Christmas Eve with my mom's family down by LBI. Aiden had a ball playing with his cousins Hunter and Violet.

Someone Doesn't Like the Advent Calendar

For some reason, Aiden has issues with his Little People Advent Calendar. He likes to take all the people off of it and hide them. Usually he throws them on the floor in a rage. The other day I found them all in his kitchen sink! Maybe next year he'll understand what to do with it!

Hanging with Jay at Mommy's Work

Aiden had a blast hanging out with his pal Jay and the other kids at Mommy's office. This first picture is when they were waiting for Santa to come. The next picture is when Aiden saw Rudolph, Frosty and Santa! He freaked out (as I expected) and was yelling at me "Let's go to the car and go home!" So I took him out of the room and over to the windows to look at the boats (my office is on the 45th floor so it's a great view). I told Aiden that Santa had a present for him and he said "Mommy you go get it and I stay here!" Of course once we got away from the commotion, Aiden was walking around like he owned the place. And he was such a good boy - sharing the firetrucks that Santa got him with Jay.

Our New Marketing Assistant

Aiden came to work with me yesterday. He had so much fun and was such a good boy! He sang "Jingle Bells" all throughout the day and all my coworkers loved hearing him caroling!

Finally - we have Christmas lights!

Since it wasn't too cold today I asked (suckered) Victoria and Rob into helping me put some Christmas lights up. It's not much but it was what I had in the house and I'm just excited to have something!

Yummm... cookies with lots of sugar!

After Aiden sampled one of his treats, he was all wound up! Then he started giving out his Backyardigan stickers. He gave me the ones of Pablo surfing b/c he said "Mommy likes the beach!" He gave Aunt V the ones of Tyrone in a cowboy hat b/c according to Aiden "Aunt V likes cowboys!" Here's a picture of Papa and Aiden modeling their stickers.

Can you tell which cookies Aiden decorated?

I'll give you a hint - it wasn't the reindeer! Aunt V and Rob made those.

Baking Cookies with Nanny

We had a cookie baking party today and Aiden had so much fun making sugar cookies with Nanny.

Merry Christmas from Aiden

Aiden's Stats

Aiden is almost 27 months and since we went to his asthma doctor on Friday, I decided to post his updated stats - 28lbs and 34 inches tall! He is speaking so well and amazing us every day with the things he knows!

All He Wants for Christmas is...

Me: "Aiden what do you want Santa to bring you?"
Aiden: "Milk!!!"
Me: "Anything else?"
Aiden: "Cheerios!!!"

So Santa, if you're reading this, it's just milk and Cheerios for my little boy!

It's Beginning to Feel a lot like Christmas!

Alvin rocks! He picked up our tree today so it finally feels like Christmas in our house. The tree is really skinny but we love it! More room for Santa's gifts to fit under it!
