Shoe Lover

Anderson loves shoes! He can say "shoe" and if you ask him to get his shoes, he does and he gives them to you to put on his feet. Although many times he tries to eat them! Or he grabs our shoes and puts them in his mouth too. Yuck! Btw I'm sure you know who got him his cute fire truck pajamas - Aunt V and Rob!

Such Big Boys

Today I was able to drop both boys off at school during breakfast and I got to see Anderson in action in the breakfast room. He sat in the big boy chair and ate all his french toast while he looked around at the bigger kids. I couldn't believe what a big boy he's become! Then I dropped him off at his classroom and he hardly looked back at me as he danced for everyone and then played cars with his friends. And today was a great drop-off for Aiden too. Now that I'm working from home, I try to bring the boys to school more and sometimes Aiden gets clingy to me and doesn't want me to leave. Today he ran off to play with his friends. I was a little sad as I secretly like when he keeps begging me to stay. But I'm very happy that they are so happy at school.

Big Boy Sneakers

We decided to bring Anderson to the mall to get new shoes. Well he must have known where we were going because when we pulled into the parking lot, he threw up all over himself and his old sneakers! We had to bring him inside wearing just socks! 

New Addiction for Everyone

Alvin introduced Aiden and me to the game Fruit Ninja on the Kindle. I usually get a score around 200. Alvin had the highest score of 360 until this morning when Aiden scored a 429! Now they are both scoring in the 400s and I still haven't hit 300.

Partying Hard on New Year's

We never go out on New Years. But this year we had a gift card to Carraba's from Pop-pop so we decided to eat out for the last night of 2012. While we were waiting for our table, we ordered Aiden his first Shirley Temple. Then we played many games of Monopoly Jr when we got home. 

Sledding with Papa

We had 2 inches of snow on 12/29 and Aiden was really excited to try out his new sled from Santa. So Papa took him in the backyard and ran back and forth pulling him along. Aiden had a blast! 

Christmas with Nanny & Papa

All of the family was in town for my birthday and we celebrated our Christmas. It was so nice having Alison and Jake here as well and I was very excited to finally get the first, complete family photo!

Anderson is 13 Months!!!

Anderson is such a big boy! He moves into the Step-Up class this week with two of his little friends. He loves running around and is always stealing shoes when we're home. When we're out at a restaurant he waves to everyone and says "Hi-Ya!" He's just a very happy little guy. Except when he's sick or teething which seems to be often these days. But his favorite thing to do is DANCE! Any time he hears music, or even just a beat, his arms and feet start moving like crazy. I'll post videos soon!
