Weekend Pics

Happy Birthday Lola!!!

NYC Views

We took a very long way home so Aiden could ride the ferry boat. He had so much fun watching the boats and the helicopters from my office on the 34th floor so he was super excited to see the views from the water. Here's a picture of him with my office in the background and a picture of him with the World Trade Center in the background. It will be interesting to see how much taller it is when he comes to the office again.

My Little Co-Worker

On Friday to celebrate my friend Brooke's last day of work I declared it Marketing Bring Your Kids to Work day. Of course I only brought Aiden in because Anderson would have been a handful. We had such a great day. It started out with Aiden super excited to be on Mommy's train. The first thing he yelled when we got on was "This train has no seat belts!!!" We took the Path but luckily I brought the umbrella stroller b/c there was no way Aiden could do that long walk. It was exhausting pushing the stroller while holding our bags plus the Munchkins Aiden wanted us to bring for his new work friends.

Aiden had a great time playing soccer in the hallways of my office. So many of my coworkers commented that he had such a strong kick. He had a great time having lunch with his friends Jay and Ryan. And playing with his Leap Pad with Christine in her cube for an hour. And of course he was showered with gifts - a remote control car, a basketball game and a baseball from the biggest Yankees fan. I'll have to bring him in for Christmas this year since we missed Santa last year.

VACATION!!!

We spent 9 wonderful days in Long Beach Island and had an amazing vacation! I had a million pictures to post but here are a few favorites. So many great memories including Anderson's first time on the beach, on a merry-go-round and in a baby pool. Aiden's first time climbing up a lighthouse (or being carried up and down a lighthouse by Daddy). Wish the vacation didn't have to end...

7 Months and All He Wants to Do is Stand (and Dance)

Our Little Fish

Pool Day

Adventures in Baby Food Making

For those who know me, you know I am not a cook. However I thought that I may try making Anderson's baby food. Granted I should have started trying months ago to save money but I do tend to procrastinate. During this adventure I came across a brand new All-Clad pot and steamer that we had down in the basement for many years and never used. I steamed a sweet potato and put it in the Baby Bullet with water and it made 7 servings of baby food for Anderson. And he liked it a lot!

Staying Cool Indoors

It was 100 degrees here on Saturday so we stayed inside with the air conditioning blasting.
