Who Is This Boy?

So Anderson was overdue for a haircut but the snow kept delaying us. I was hoping that he would be calm and now be used to it so it wouldn't be so traumatic. I was wrong! As soon as the hairdresser got the buzzer out, Anderson went nuts. Screaming on top of his lungs, lunging at her and trying to hit her a few times. It took all my strength to keep him in the car. We decided to give him the same haircut as Aiden. Mostly because there was no way she could use scissors on him while he was so upset. He would have hurt someone. He seriously looks like a different kid - but still super cute! 

Lots of Snow this Winter

We've already had so much snow this winter. Last week schools were closed Monday, delayed opening on Tuesday and schools were closed again on Wednesday! On Monday Aiden stayed home with me while I worked from home. But we found time to shovel and build a snowman. 

Sunglasses On

Anderson's new obsession is his sunglasses. The other day it was snowing and he wouldn't take them off. His teacher got some pictures of him doing his artwork with them on. When I came home from work, I found him eating dinner with his glasses on still. Then of course we realized Aiden didn't have any sunglasses so we went to Target and found him an Avengers pair. And now of course Anderson wants a pair with a character on it but he will have to wait awhile. 

The Entertainer

Anderson LOVES to sing! And sing with the microphone. And have an audience. In fact when he's ready to perform, you better be paying attention or he will scream at you. We are amazed at how many songs he knows. He has no boundaries - there have been many times that we are out to eat that he starts singing loudly at the table! 

Catholic Schools Week

During Catholic Schools week, there was a visitation day for parents. I got to visit Aiden in Kindergarten and do an art project with him. He made this snowman out of socks and rice. Then I got to sit with him in the lunch room while he ate macaroni and cheese (which he says is his favorite meal at school!)

After a Massive Tantrum...

A few weeks ago I had to volunteer at the Open House at Aiden's school. It was right after the family mass at the church so the boys hung out there as well. Both boys had so much fun running around the gym and playing basketball. Anderson had fun hanging out in the Kindergarten classroom, although he did tell Aiden's teacher to stop singing! She said she can't wait until Anderson becomes her student because she could tell he's a very bright boy. 

Well after the open house, we stopped by a restaurant to eat lunch. Before we could even order Anderson threw a massive tantrum and we decided to leave right away. On the way home we felt daring and decided to stop at a diner we usually frequent. Two minutes after we sat down, Anderson passed out! Don't worry, we didn't leave him with his head hanging. We put a chair and piled my coat on it so he would have a pillow.
