Aiden's New Toy

We bought Aiden the Baby Einstein Jumper this weekend and he's really good at spinning the frog.

It was Great-Grandma's 89th birthday so I got to see my cousins. Don't think I wasn't jealous that Sophia got to eat cake and I'm too little (although I'm only 2lbs less than her!) All the pictures can be found here - http://aiden0923.shutterfly.com/120.

Sushi Date

I went out for sushi with Mommy and Daddy. The owner couldn't believe I was only 5 months old. He thought I looked like a Sumo wrestler.

Starting to Feel Better

Aiden is definitely improving although he probably won't be 100% for another few days. And he can't go back to daycare until Monday. Nanny and Papa came to visit yesterday and Nanny stayed over to help out which made Aiden very happy.

Little A-Rod

Our little boy is on steroids just like A-Rod! Aiden has to take a daily steroid and nebulizer treatments for his bronchiolitis. He doesn't seem to mind the nebulizer as you can see below.

1st (and hopefully last) Trip to the Emergency Room

Wednesday night Aiden came down with a really bad cough so we took him to the doctor the next morning. They diagnosed him with bronchiolitis and told us to use a nebulizer on him every 4 hours around the clock. Later that night and into Friday morning he became dehydrated so we brought him back to the doctor's and they sent us the the emergency room!

We were in the hospital for 7 hours. At least we had a nice private room in the pediatric ward which had a TV and VCR so Aiden got to watch 4 different Baby Einstein tapes... they are his favorite! Our chunky monkey is now 17lbs, 9oz and the doctor had a really hard time finding his veins since his arms and legs are so big! Luckily he tested negative for RSV and the flu. He even had a chest X-ray.

Today we were back at the doctor's and it looks like he is improving. We go back on Friday for hopefully the last visit (5 doctor's visits and 1 ER trip in 7 days!!!)

Here are some pictures of Aiden in his hospital bed - notice the bandage on his right leg where he was hooked up to an IV. Poor baby! He was such a good boy though.

Aiden's First Artwork!!!

Today at daycare Aiden played with finger paint and created his first art work! Of course it went right on the refrigerator! We loved how they put a picture of him painting on the actual painting. The picture below shows him talking to the animals while he grabs his feet (his new hobby).
